Ecological Services create a bespoke temporary bat mitigation roost in South Powys

Work is underway to create a bespoke temporary bat mitigation roost at a site in Ystradgynlais, Powys. 

  • The mitigation is being completed as part of works being carried out under a development licence from Natural Resources Wales (NRW).

  • The mitigation is required for the loss of a roosting location used by a low number of individual lesser horseshoe and brown long eared bats.

  • Our licensed and suitably experienced ecologists are overseeing the works which the site owner has built themselves from scratch.
